Job summary

APG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Atlanta-area properties. You will complete service requests promptly, participate in on-call rotations, and perform preventative and make-ready maintenance to support resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, basic aptitude in apartment maintenance, and strong communication skills. HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical/Appliance repair training is a plus, along with self-motivation and diplomacy with residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Special training/experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or Appliance Repair is preferred.
• Good communication skills; ability to interact with residents, prospects, coworkers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests within 24 hours as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Participate in the maintenance on-call rotation.
• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance.
• Handle make-ready maintenance tasks.
• Assist with other duties and projects as deemed necessary by management.
• Maintain basic aptitude in apartment maintenance-related areas.
