Job summary

PRC Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day upkeep of a multi-unit residential building in Red Bank, NJ. The role supports the superintendent and property management to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for residents.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance skills, customer service mindset, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Responsibilities include repairs, preventive maintenance, snow removal, and seasonal preparations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in apartment communities or related residential environments.
• Valid driver's license; reliable transportation to assigned property.
• Personal set of basic tools required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and repair work to keep apartments safe and functional.
• Prepare market-ready apartments including cleaning, repairs, painting, and installations.
• Repair electrical fixtures, switches, outlets, appliances, and related equipment.
• Repair plumbing including leaky fixtures and basic pipe work.
• Carry out carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring tasks as needed.
• Maintain common areas, building grounds, and amenity spaces according to standards.
• Respond to emergency requests during on-call rotations and safety incidents.
• Assist with inspections, preventative maintenance, and capital projects.
