Mercy Haven, Inc. is seeking a Residential Maintenance Worker to maintain and renovate agency-owned residential properties in Islip Terrace, NY.

You will perform painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs, ensuring safety and quality in our homes. This full-time role requires physical strength to lift 125–200 pounds, valid driver’s license, and ability to work independently or with a team.

Formación

• Proven experience in general maintenance, construction, or property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and renovate agency-owned residential properties.
• Paint, repair drywall, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Repair or replace windows, doors, and door locks; complete interior and exterior repairs up to two stories.
• Assist with inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent issues.
