Job summary

Morguard is seeking a Service Technician to perform hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general areas to keep our communities safe and market-ready. You will handle resident requests, complete make-ready tasks, and help maintain curb appeal.

A valid driver's license, EPA Universal certification, and 2+ years of residential maintenance experience are required. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of residential maintenance experience including work orders and make ready turns.
• Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
• EPA Universal is required
• Valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access and manage materials from the property’s maintenance department.
• Assists in grounds, common areas, and amenities upkeep including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Participates in the quarterly preventative maintenance program.
• Ability to accommodate a rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule.
