Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to upkeep residential apartments and public areas across our campus, ensuring residents have a safe, comfortable place to call home.

You will respond promptly to work orders, perform routine and emergency repairs (electrical, plumbing, lighting), service HVAC systems, and collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of living.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential complex, commercial building, or construction-related industry.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• HVAC knowledge is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt responses to residents' maintenance work orders.
• Contribute to the General Services team's visibility and problem solving.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and community public areas, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting fixtures.
• Perform maintenance of HVAC equipment, including preventive maintenance and responding to emergency calls.
