Job summary

Fogelman is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform service requests and repairs in our apartment communities in the Norcross area. The role emphasizes high-quality resident service and timely maintenance across buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities include completing all assigned tasks, readying units, managing tools/inventory, and supporting preventive maintenance while adhering to safety and Fair Housing policies. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification Type 1 & 2 or Universal.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in computers and online applications.
• Working knowledge of property systems like Yardi, Entrata and HappyCo.
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready units.
• Care for inventory and supplies and equipment.
• Provide personal tools.
• Clean work area, tools and equipment.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
• Follow safety policies at all times.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all policies including safety and Fair Housing.
• Other duties as assigned.
