Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes. You’ll ensure homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained, supporting resident satisfaction and asset preservation.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position may involve on-site work across multiple properties in the Little Rock area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in residential maintenance or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Proficiency in mobile technology and work order systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and home systems.
• Complete and document work orders accurately using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Maintain tools and supplies; support renovations, turns, and quality checks.
• Promote values and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Identify safety risks and follow OSHA and safety standards.
