GCI Residential in Cornelius, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the community and deliver high-quality service to residents. This role supports a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment.

You will perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances and exteriors with guidance from the Maintenance Supervisor, contributing to resident satisfaction and renewals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in multifamily apartment maintenance.
• Experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, exteriors and appliances.
• Dedication to customer needs and ability to build relationships.
• Thorough, self-motivated and organized in task completion.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and safety of the community.
• Respond to residential service requests promptly and professionally.
• Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, exteriors and appliances to prepare homes for rent.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the community residents proud to call home.
