Zusammenfassung

Ginkgo Residential LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Service Manager in keeping our Charlotte communities safe and well-maintained. You will handle routine, preventive, and emergency tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances to meet company standards and resident expectations.

You will coordinate with vendors, supervise make-ready repairs, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in multifamily or residential property management.
• HVAC certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a “people first” mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently while acting with accountability and purpose.
• Basic computer proficiency (work orders, property management systems).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability for rotating weekends and on-call emergency maintenance.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Complete service requests promptly and professionally, putting residents first and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing inspections and all necessary make-ready repairs in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general building systems.
• Coordinate and monitor work performed by third-party vendors and contractors to ensure quality, safety, and alignment with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop, while supporting sustainable practices such as proper material usage and waste reduction.
• Conduct regular inspections of community buildings, grounds, and systems to proactively identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of a rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with team members to cultivate a positive work environment and elevate team performance.
• Continuously seek opportunities for learning, improvement, and professional growth.
