Job summary

GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Legacy Heritage community in Wake Forest, NC. Join a team that values residents and staff, delivering high-quality service while maintaining housing quality and safety.

You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance needs, ensuring a well-kept living environment for residents and efficient operations for the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, HVAC repairs and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the community for residents and guests.
• Respond to service requests promptly with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, pools, and exteriors.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the community remains a place residents are proud to call home.
