Job summary

Triple Crown Corporation in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to join the Brooks Edge team. You will assist in maintaining assigned residential properties and perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting tasks.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of residential property maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call. HVAC certification is a plus; basic tools and computer proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ residential property maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work on-call rotations.
• HVAC/EPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments prior to resident occupancy and complete maintenance work orders.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Maintain pools as needed and assist with snow/ice during winter.
• Assist with stock control and maintain a clean maintenance shop.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for residents.

About the position...

TheResidential Maintenance Technicianis responsible for assisting in the overall maintenance of assigned residential properties. We are looking for a technician with our Brooks Edge team located in Camp Hill, PA.

• Responsible for preparing apartments prior to resident occupancy and participates in maintenance projects/work orders as directed.
• Completion of property work orders, including but not limited to light electrical repairs, plumbing work, drywall repairs, light carpentry work, and painting.
• Maintains and assists with pool maintenance as needed.
• Occasionally shovels snow and chips ice as needed.
• Assists with stock control to ensure utilization of materials, organization, and tidiness of the maintenance shop.
• Ensure residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
• Assists in assigned rotational on call.

What we are looking for from you..

• Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
• Minimum of 2 years’ residential property maintenance and/or handywork experience is required
• Experience in maintenance for a property management company is highly preferred but not required
• Must be able to work assigned rotational on-call
• HVAC/EPA Certification is highly preferred but not required
• Must possess all basic hand tools to perform service duties
• Basic computer proficiency, including smartphones and tablets
• Must be a strong team player and have the ability to work independently or with others on assigned tasks
• Must possess excellent attention to detail as well as organizational and time management skills
