Job summary

Bushburg Properties Inc. is seeking a Handyman to maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of our rental properties.

You will handle maintenance requests, perform repairs, and prep units for occupancy while ensuring all common areas and systems are well cared for. The role requires reliable, customer-service oriented individuals who can work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with residents and the property management team.

Qualifications

Experience in residential building maintenance or related field.
Strong knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems.
Ability to stand, bend, lift 40+ pounds.
Excellent communication with residents and teams.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance requests and repairs in residential units and common areas.
Respond to emergency maintenance and same-day service when required.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and ensure unit readiness.
Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas and grounds.
Test and troubleshoot appliances in units.
Follow safety procedures and maintain tools and work areas.
Provide residents with maintenance guidance and proper equipment use.
Coordinate with Property Managers and Maintenance Department to complete tasks promptly.
