Job summary

Bushburg Properties Inc. is seeking a hands-on Handyman to maintain the property's appearance, safety, and overall condition. The role supports daily operations by completing maintenance requests, performing repairs, and preparing units for occupancy.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in residential or facilities maintenance required.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and general repairs.

Responsibilities

Inspect common areas and spaces to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Respond to maintenance requests and complete same-day service when required.
Perform repairs in units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, and safety tasks.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and ensure units meet standards.
Maintain and inspect building systems, and test in-unit appliances.
Provide guidance to residents on maintenance and proper equipment use.
Follow safety procedures and maintain tools and work areas.
