Job summary

Mayroad is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician Generalist to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential properties and Mayroad assets across multiple sites, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

Role requires passing background checks, a pre-employment drug test, a REAL‑ID license, and a valid vehicle. Candidates should have EPA 608 certification or steam experience as per location and be able to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or offset by experience.
• Pass a state and federal background check to access Air Force installation.
• Pass a 12-panel pre-employment drug test.
• Valid, unrestricted REAL‑ID compliant driver’s license required to drive on the Air Force Installation.
• Ability to read, understand, interpret, and communicate work-related information in English.
• Experience performing residential maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC (or steam in AK).
• Must have EPA 608 HVAC certification or steam experience per location.
• Must have personal vehicle for on-the-job transportation.
• Must have personal smartphone for on-the-job communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain the physical condition and appearance of residential properties and assets.
• Perform skilled trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC per location.
• Work in non-climate-controlled environments and comply with PPE requirements.
• Handle heavy tasks and perform physical duties as part of routine maintenance.
