Job summary

Redwood Living, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance across Redwood Neighborhoods, including unit turns, troubleshooting appliances, and basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

You will interact with residents and team members to ensure a positive experience. Requirements include 1 year of general maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC Certification (preferred)
• Exceptional customer service skills (preferred)
• Apartment maintenance experience (preferred)
• Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and computers (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds as assigned through work orders
• Prepare vacated apartment homes for release quickly and professionally
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks
• Minor plumbing system repairs such as clearing drains and toilet issues
• Service kitchen appliances, washers, dryers, and garage issues when necessary
• Emergency maintenance as part of an on-call schedule
• Follow safety standards at all times
• Snow removal
• Other related duties as assigned
