Job summary

BeMore Staffing is seeking a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-perm role at a Columbia-area apartment community. You will perform a broad range of maintenance tasks to keep units ready for residents and maintain property standards.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and routine groundskeeping, plus responding to service requests with professionalism and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience in apartment or property maintenance.
• HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must provide basic maintenance tools.
• Experience with unit make-ready and resident services.
• Strong organization and ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance servicing, carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks.
• Maintain and repair apartment components such as showers, sinks, doors, cabinets.
• Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare units for move-ins with make-ready tasks and checks.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and basic groundskeeping.
• Assist special projects as directed by management.
