Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis at a reputable apartment community. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in a variety of repair and maintenance disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general property upkeep. Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, appliance servicing, carpentry, masonry, and painting
  
• Maintain and repair residential components such as showers, sinks, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
  
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to residents, clients, and internal teams
  
• Respond efficiently and effectively to resident service requests and maintenance tickets
  
• Prepare rental units for move‑ins by completing all required make‑ready tasks and quality checks
  
• Implement annual preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and systems

Requirements

• HVAC experience and valid EPA certification (Type 1, 2, 3, Universal, or equivalent) are highly preferred
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required
  
• Must provide and maintain a personal set of basic maintenance tools
  
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, working independently or collaboratively
  
• Apartment Maintenance: 1–2 years of experience
  
• Property Maintenance: 1–2 years of experience
