Job summary

Rental Asset Management LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, ensuring residents' safety and comfort.

This role also handles make-readies for new rentals, keeps common areas clean, completes work orders on schedule, and supports inspections and vendor coordination. On-call coverage including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification – Refrigerant Handling is required.
• Minimum 1 year in maintenance roles preferred.
• Solid experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems for work orders, inspections, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Identify and report damages to prevent malfunctions and ensure resident safety.
• Prepare units for new rentals including HVAC checks, painting, minor repairs, upgrades.
• Maintain common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Complete work orders within established timelines and monitor key operational indicators.
• Coordinate with Property Management, vendors, and participate in on-call rotations including weekends.
• Assist inspections and ensure EPA refrigerant handling compliance.
