Job summary

Friedman Real Estate seeks an on-site Maintenance Technician for The Sophia in Dallas, TX. You will prep apartments for make-ready turns, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and other systems, handle on-call after-hours calls, and maintain grounds including snow removal.

Strong reliability, tool knowledge, and a can-do attitude are essential. Two years of multi-family property maintenance experience and a valid driver's license are required; basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills are

Qualifications

HVAC certification is a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
Have complete grasp of on-site maintenance management.
Knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
Be responsible and reliable; positive, can-do attitude.
Must have a basic set of tools.
Understand on-site maintenance management basics.

Responsibilities

Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
General maintenance duties as necessary.
On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls.
Snow removal and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
Completing work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, light electrical.
