Job summary

Onni Group of Companies is seeking a Residential Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to mentor staff and oversee daily tasks of a maintenance and janitorial team across multiple residential properties. You will ensure asset integrity by supervising routine duties, scheduling, and safety compliance.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, at least an Associate degree or technical training, and a track record of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical training in residential property maintenance is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive maintenance experience, with 2+ in a supervisory role.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; knowledge of building codes and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians and janitorial staff.
• Supervise day-to-day maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other systems.
• Inspect units before move-in/out and turnover, assess damages, and delegate tasks to team members.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds; coordinate with property management and vendors.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and escalated issues; monitor budget and supplies.
