Job summary

Unity Bay in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in our residential programs. The role requires adherence to physician orders, agency policies, and state and federal regulations to ensure health and safety.

You will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, coordinate appointments, document care in Therap, and support staff with training.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desired.
• Relevant nursing licensure (LPN) and current SC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents per policies and physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation (MARS/therap records).
• Schedule medical appointments and coordinate care.
• Train and supervise staff on medical procedures and safety.
• Communicate with residents' families about medical status.
