Management Preferences

Provide supervision, training, and supportive counseling to NCSD residential school students. Ensure a safe and secure environment and monitor and supervise students. Enhance learning opportunities and assist students in a variety of age-appropriate activities that include personal hygiene and grooming, homework, and projects, and social and/or recreational activities. May tutor students in academic subjects and skill development, conduct formal and informal learning exercises, and provide supportive counseling on interpersonal relationships and appropriate behaviors. Student Life Trainers may also teach objectives related to the residential program and evaluate student progress, emulating the parenting role in settings that serve children.
