Job summary

UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOM in Norman, OK seeks a Student Leadership Coordinator to advise residential student leadership organizations and support housing community programming. The role includes partnering with the Residence Hall Association and seven Community Councils, guiding leadership development, and coordinating recruitment, budgets, and events.

Responsibilities span advising student organizations, program development, and collaboration with campus partners to foster belonging and engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12 months in student programming, student services, or closely related experience.
• Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months experience.
• Master's degree preferred for enhanced qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive advising and developmental support for residential student leadership organizations, including RHA and seven Community Councils.
• Support creation and implementation of programs that foster engagement, belonging, and leadership within the residential community.
• Design and manage processes to ensure continued success and sustainability of student organizations.
• Oversee administrative and operational components necessary to sustain student leadership organizations.
• Strengthen partnerships within the institution and connect residential leadership to broader professional networks.
