Job summary

College of St. Scholastica, Inc. in Duluth, MN, is seeking an Area Coordinator for Residential Life to oversee eight on-campus housing facilities and a community of about 800 students.

This is a twelve-month, full-time professional staff role focusing on student development, staff supervision, and operational administration. Responsibilities include RA supervision, training, crisis response, budgeting, and collaboration with campus partners to maintain a safe, inclusive living-learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business management, or related field; AND two (2) years of professional academic, student development, program planning, and management experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of on-campus residential areas (eight buildings) and supervise student staff.
• Provide support and leadership to residential students; develop relationships and mentor diverse student body.
• Demonstrate crisis management, health and safety responsiveness, and appropriate referrals.
