Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) in Bronx, New York, seeks a role focused on maintaining a safe, positive dorm environment and guiding students toward productive, responsible behavior.

You will work as part of a team to supervise dorm life, coordinate with counselors and health staff, and ensure compliance with government and management directives. A background in student services and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Must pass background check and drug test as required by the contract.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive and effective relations with students in the dormitory.
• Provide guidance to students to achieve positive attitudes and behavior.
• Supervise and monitor dorm activities, dorm government, and peer court.
• Assist with dorm and recreational activities on and off Center.
• Transport students to activities, airports, stores, etc. as needed.
• Prepare morning reports, pass lists, and related administrative tasks.
• Direct and assist in dorm maintenance and inspections; request supplies.
• Conduct group counseling sessions and dorm meetings as scheduled.
