Job summary

Timberland Bank in Lacey, WA seeks a Residential Loan Officer to market, originate, and close residential real estate loans while growing our loan portfolio. In this role you will interact with applicants, collect financial data, input and review loan information, and prepare files for underwriting and Board action.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in business or finance is desirable.
• Prefer two years combined experience in loan origination, processing, or related fields.
• Formal or correspondent training in lending disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Interviews loan applicants and counsels applicants on loan programs and options.
• Obtains necessary financial information to process loan applications and analyzes income.
• Prepares loan files for processing, underwriting, and Board or Loan Committee actions.
• Ensures compliance with lending policies and outlines loan terms to borrowers.
