Job summary

SDK Apartments seeks a Leasing Associate in New Jersey to showcase properties, process applications, and deliver outstanding resident service. You’ll negotiate leases, market available units, and ensure compliance with housing rules while maintaining precise records.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in leasing and strong communication skills. Weekend availability is required; MS Office and Onesite knowledge are a plus, with reliable transportation a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of leasing experience; a combination of sales and residential leasing may be considered.
• Exceptional presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable to changing work schedules and ability to work weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Showcase properties to potential residents, respond to leasing inquiries promptly, and negotiate lease terms following established procedures.
• Assist with lease applications, verify resident eligibility, and prepare leasing documents.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with property standards and housing regulations.
• Effectively market available units in appropriate channels representing accurate and engaging information using SDK marketing content.
• Proactively initiate outreach plans.
• Regularly inspect the tour path and model units and inform property teams of any issues.
• Strive to deliver a one-stop experience and provide exceptional customer support to all residents by addressing their concerns and inquiries, escalating issues when necessary.
