Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant for an on-site apartment community. You will greet prospects, qualify needs, present floor plans and amenities, and guide them through the lease process while handling applications and documentation with accuracy.

You will also support resident relations, retention efforts, and daily administrative tasks, contributing to occupancy goals and a welcoming community culture. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience in multifamily housing.
• New Development Experience or Class A or B leasing preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance (or training within 90 days).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (Yardi or OneSite) preferred.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify needs, and guide tours of available apartments.
• Present features and benefits, including floor plans, amenities, and neighborhoods.
• Process applications and leasing documents per standards.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends and contribute marketing ideas to the Property Manager.
• Perform outreach marketing and participate in resident events.
• Promote outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.
• Assist with lease renewals, notices to vacate, and resident communications.
• Archive lease files, log daily traffic, and update leasing reports.
• Support with property inspections and daily administrative tasks.
