Positive Investments, Inc. seeks a Leasing Consultant to join the property management team. You will support daily residential operations, drive occupancy, and maintain compliance while delivering high service standards.

The role blends client relations with administrative and marketing tasks to maximize revenue and community appeal. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; one year of leasing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of residential property management or leasing experience is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet. (Note: Familiarity with property management software like Yardi is a plus).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers, residents, and vendors.
• Analytical Ability: Understanding of basic arithmetic, accounting principles, and financial/traffic statements; ability to read and interpret complex operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and safety. Address hazards and ensure cleanliness of common areas.
• Manage resident issues, maintenance requests, and disputes with professionalism and timely resolution.
• Assist in rent collection, review revenue, and handle applications, renewals, and discounts to maintain occupancy targets.
• Prepare and track daily/weekly traffic, activity, and availability reports.
• Assist with vendor selection and price negotiations for services.
• Act as Property Manager in the absence of the Property Manager.
