Positive Investments, Inc. is seeking a professional Leasing Consultant to join our property management team in California. You will support the Property Manager, drive occupancy, and maintain high standards of compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role blends strong interpersonal and administrative skills with basic marketing activity, including coordinating ads, processing applications, renewals, and reporting occupancy trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of residential property management or leasing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and cleanliness.
• Manage resident issues, maintenance requests, and disputes professionally.
• Assist in rent collection, review revenue, and handle applications, renewals, and discounts to maintain occupancy.
• Prepare, review, and track daily/weekly occupancy and traffic reports.
• Assist with vendor selection and price negotiations for services.
• Step in for the Property Manager during its absence.
