Job summary

Pathway Society Inc. Downtown San Jose is seeking a Janitorial/Housekeeping Technician to maintain a clean, safe environment in residential treatment settings. This non-exempt, full-time role offers benefits and pays $21-$24 hourly.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, restocking, laundry duties, and reporting maintenance issues to the maintenance coordinator. Must pass comprehensive background checks, have a valid driver license, and complete HIPAA/42 CFR training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in janitorial/housekeeping.
• Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Outlook email, online timekeeping system.
• Strong ability to communicate (English) with clarity, courtesy, and professionalism both orally and in writing/email with coworkers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum, mop, wipe down door jams, light switch covers, walls & baseboards.
• Oversee the upkeep, maintenance & ordering of cleaning equipment with maintenance coordinator.
• Maintain cleaning closet in an orderly manner; report maintenance issues to coordinator.
