Job summary

Destination Homes seeks an Interior Designer to support the Design team in developing brand-forward interiors and exteriors across communities. You will manage finishes, color palettes, and presentation materials while coordinating with Sales, Drafting, Preconstruction, Marketing, and external partners.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in interior design or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant design experience; residential design or construction preferred.
• Ability to read floor plans and elevations and interpret design documents.
• Working knowledge of design software such as Bluebeam, PowerPoint, SketchUp, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design team in maintaining brand through interior and exterior design.
• Design and render exterior color schemes for ARB submittals.
• Enter finishes and palette data into internal software on schedule.
• Re-select materials when products are discontinued and coordinate changes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to keep look books current.
• Prepare design-related presentations for city approvals.
• Maintain organized sample library and assist with model home design.
• Visit communities and sites to observe progress and identify improvements.
• Assist with staging, relocation, and storage of model home furnishings.
• Support documentation and sharing of Design team resources.
