Job summary

Information Providers, Inc is seeking an Insurance Inspector to perform on-site underwriting inspections for residential and commercial properties. You will gather data, measure properties, capture photos, and identify building materials and hazards to support risk assessments.

Travel to inspection sites with your own reliable vehicle and a Windows-based laptop. Flexible routes and independent work style are valued, with opportunities for growth and leadership in a field-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation for multiple daily inspections.
• Proficient in data collection and documenting conditions accurately.
• Able to operate a Windows-based laptop and upload photos/reports.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site underwriting inspections to collect data for property risk assessments.
• Photograph structures from multiple angles, including exterior features and roof.
• Identify building materials and hazards for accurate risk evaluation.
• Upload completed inspections to the company online platform after fieldwork.

This Position

As an Insurance Inspector, you would be on-site conducting insurance underwriting inspections by collecting data for a condition assessment, measuring dimensions of the property, taking photographs of all sides of the structure, roof photos, exterior amenities, hazards, and identifying building materials of the risk. Upon completion, all information collected will be uploaded onto an internet-based platform.
