Job summary

Information Providers, Inc is seeking an Insurance Inspector to conduct on-site underwriting inspections for residential and commercial properties. You will collect data for condition assessments, measure dimensions, photograph the property, and identify hazards using our internet-based platform.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who can work outdoors in all seasons, own a reliable vehicle, have a Windows-based laptop and a smartphone, and enjoy independent work with strong time-management

Qualifications

Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
Reliable vehicle for inspections.
Windows-based computer with internet access.
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site underwriting inspections to collect data for condition assessments.
Measure dimensions of the property and capture photographs of the structure.
Identify hazards and building materials relevant to the risk.
Upload all collected information to the online platform after inspections.

Position

As an Insurance Inspector, you would be on-site conducting insurance underwriting inspections by collecting data for a condition assessment, measuring dimensions of the property, taking photographs of all sides of the structure, roof photos, exterior amenities, hazards, and identifying building materials of the risk. Upon completion, all information collected will be uploaded onto an internet-based platform.
