Job summary

Information Providers, Inc in the United States is seeking an Insurance Inspector to perform on-site underwriting surveys for residential and commercial properties. You will collect data for condition assessments, measure building dimensions, take comprehensive photos, and document hazards while using our internet-based platform to upload all findings.

Flexibility in scheduling, independence in the field, and a robust support team are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter who works independently.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and know-how to manage travel to inspections.
• Must have a Windows-based computer with internet access and a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site insurance underwriting inspections and collect data for condition assessments.
• Measure dimensions, photograph all sides of the structure and exterior features, identify building materials and hazards, and upload information to the platform.

This Position

As an Insurance Inspector, you would be on-site conducting insurance underwriting inspections by collecting data for a condition assessment, measuring dimensions of the property, taking photographs of all sides of the structure, roof photos, exterior amenities, hazards, and identifying building materials of the risk. Upon completion, all information collected will be uploaded onto an internet-based platform.
