Job summary

Easterseals NH in Manchester, NH seeks a 2nd Shift Residential Instructor to work with youth with neurological or psychological disabilities. You will lead groups, assist with behavior plans, and serve as a trusted role model in a team setting.

This is active, hands-on work outside of a desk job. The role involves helping clients with daily living skills, relationship development, coping strategies, and educational activities.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree with 12+ Human Services credits.
• Two years of residential experience.
• 2 years of combined Human Service credits and experience with children.
• Must be a parent of a child 7+ years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with youth with neurological and/or psychological disabilities.
• Conduct groups and recreational activities and assist with behavior plans.
• Directly impact clients through active, hands-on care.

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Residential Instructor to join our team! As a Residential Instructor, you’ll work with youth with neurological and or psychological disabilities. Our clients range from clients who have experienced trauma and abuse, to clients who have non‑verbal and behavioral disorders. You will work with clients conducting groups and recreational activities and helping them with their behavior plans. This is not a desk job. Our interactive work directly impacts the lives of our clients. Whether you are assisting a client with daily living activities, improving relationship skills, developing coping mechanisms or teaching a subject, you will become a needed, trusted role model in this team‑oriented position.

Qualifications:

• An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services
• Two years of residential experience
• A combination of Human Service college credits and experience working with children totaling 2 years
• Be a Parent of a child 7 years of age or older
• Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:

$23.00-$28.00 hourly, based upon qualifications, related experience and education.

Hours:

2nd shift includes 3 weekdays from 1:30PM-11PM and 1 weekend shift 8AM-11PM.

Sign-on Bonus:

$1,500. It is paid out over your first 6 months.
