Job summary

NFI North, Inc. seeks a Direct Care Counselor for the second shift, Wednesday–Saturday and Sunday–Wednesday at Arbor View in Newport, NH.

The residential program supports adults with mental illness, offering clinical, vocational services, case management, and life skills to foster independent living. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, guiding personal and social skills, medication monitoring, and promoting a culture of belonging.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred, and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with the client population.

Position

Direct Care Counselor for Second Shift Wednesday – Saturday and Sunday – Wednesday at our 16-bed adult program relocated to Arbor View in Newport, NH. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services, case management, and life skills for adults living with mental illness who are seeking independent living.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling.
• Facilitate participant improvement in personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills, and behavior.

Additional Information
