Job summary

DH Pace Company, a family-owned firm with a strong Kansas City footprint, is hiring a Residential Install Department Manager for its Olathe, Kansas office. You will lead day-to-day operations, plan schedules to meet commitments, and manage labor costs while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes improving field performance, developing staff, and coordinating with front-line managers to stay on budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience preferred; supervisory or managerial responsibilities with a service/installation company.
• Ability to manage and develop skilled field technicians and office personnel to maximize profit and minimize labor costs.
• Excellent communicator who is highly organized and possesses a good mechanical aptitude.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Residential Install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed.
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that projects are completed timely, below budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve.
• Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
• Will assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
• Other duties as assigned
