James River Air Conditioning Company in Richmond, VA seeks a skilled electrician to join our residential service team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for our clients, read blueprints, and ensure safety standards while providing excellent client support.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior electrician experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of various test equipment.
• Follow all required safety protocol
• Other duties as assigned

As a member of our team, you are responsible for performing key functions in workorder processing, invoicing, and client support as part of a residential client service team. Essential Functions

This position requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Because the duties and responsibilities of this position are in multiple areas, a broad base of knowledge is required, as well as a willingness to operate in multiple roles as situations dictate.

• All successful candidates must be able to pass the required background check and drug-screen.

Hours

• 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (hours may vary based on business needs)
