Texas Third Party Inspections LLC is seeking a Residential ICC Combo Inspector for a full-time, on-site role in El Paso, TX. The inspector will review plans, perform field inspections across residential systems, and document findings for compliance with ICC codes and local standards.

You will communicate results to builders and owners, collaborate with stakeholders, and stay current with building regulations while upholding professional conduct on job sites.

Qualifications

• ICC Residential Combo Inspector certification or ability to obtain within defined timeframe.
• Experience conducting field inspections for new construction, remodels, and tenant improvements, including plan review and documentation of code compliance.
• Ability to prepare clear, detailed inspection reports, interpret construction documents, and communicate technical findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and sound judgment when identifying hazards, deficiencies, and corrective measures.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills for working with contractors, homeowners, and municipal officials in a professional manner.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, mobile inspection tools, and digital recordkeeping systems.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to job sites in and around El Paso, TX, and ability to work safely in various field conditions.
• Prior experience in building inspection, code enforcement, or residential construction is highly beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Review construction plans and project specifications to verify compliance with ICC codes and local ordinances.
• Conduct field inspections at various construction stages for structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Document findings with clear, structured reports and photographs.
• Communicate results and any corrective actions to builders, contractors, and property owners.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to address code-related questions and maintain accurate records.
• Support pre-construction and remodel inspections as needed and stay current with applicable codes and regulations.
• Represent the company with professional, service-oriented conduct on job sites.
• Maintain accurate records and support safety and compliance during all inspections.
