Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning in Raleigh, NC is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to deliver high-quality residential heating and cooling service and maintenance under supervision. The role emphasizes honesty, quality workmanship, and respectful customer interactions.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year HVAC experience, EPA Certification, and strong communication skills. You will diagnose, repair, and start up systems, coordinate with the office, and uphold safety and efficiency on every job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Solder/Brazing skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively.
• Beginner computing skills; able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work overtime; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heating and air equipment.
• Inspect and maintain ducting and company materials/equipment within a serviceable condition.
• Identify, wire, and start-up complete residential systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve issues to keep equipment functioning properly.
• Perform start-ups and testing; record results for each system.
• Explain services and repairs to dispatch/customer.
• Coordinate with office for day-to-day work schedule.
• Ensure parts required for appointments are ordered and ready.
• Transport parts, materials and tools to the job site and track items.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely; debrief after each service call.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area post-service.
