Job summary

Master Trade Services, located in Sauk Rapids, MN, seeks a full-time HVAC Technician for multifamily properties. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems to ensure resident comfort and equipment efficiency.

The role includes on-call rotation, safety/compliance with EPA/OSHA, and collaboration with property operations to minimize downtime and support overall building operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years HVAC service experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, PTACs, RTUs, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Inspect and test system performance for energy efficiency.
• Respond to service requests in occupied and vacant apartments.
• Assist with apartment turnover including HVAC inspections and repairs.
