Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring an HVAC Service Technician in Sewickley, PA. Direct Hire, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with on-call weeks earning a $120 stipend. Expect to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in new construction residences.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification, and strong customer service skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA certification required.
• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential warranty service calls for HVAC systems installed in new construction homes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot heating, cooling, airflow, thermostat, ductwork, and system performance issues.
• Repair, replace, or adjust HVAC components including thermostats, capacitors, relays, motors, sensors, controls, and other system parts.
• Perform warranty-related service work in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Identify installation deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
• Conduct system inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and within design specifications.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly and professionally to homeowners.
• Complete service documentation, warranty paperwork, and work orders accurately using company software or mobile applications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with internal installation, construction, and customer service teams to resolve homeowner concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training on new HVAC equipment, controls, and technologies.
