Surge Staffing is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service residential systems in the Sewickley area. This full-time role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in occupied homes, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in customers' homes. EPA certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is desired.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to work independently in customers' homes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• EPA Certification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on HVAC equipment.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Test system performance after repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding service needs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and in good working condition.
