Job summary

Hoffmann Brothers is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on repairs and maintenance of residential HVAC systems, with potential for light commercial installs during peak demand.

The technician will be responsible for accurate documentation, time management, and clear communication with customers during each visit. Candidates should have 3+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• Light Commercial Experience highly preferred
• EPA certification required
• Good background/driving record
• All employees must follow safety and OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Check-in with the office for scheduled jobs after completion of each job and end of day
• Fully complete all required documentation for each task
• Manage time for daily scheduled jobs
• Communicate with customers during and after each service visit
• Ensure materials used are properly listed on company forms
• Maintain clear updates with dispatcher/supervisor about status
• Explain processes to customers clearly throughout the service visit
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Keep a clean and organized workspace in the home/site and vehicle
