Job summary

Airtron is seeking a Start-Up Technician to handle installation, start-up, troubleshooting and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems on residential new construction projects. You will ensure systems meet company standards and manufacturer specs, and may support Service Tech duties as needed.

On-site work at construction locations with safety-first procedures. Strong communication, basic computing, and EPA certification are required; HVAC trade school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
• EPA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Start up of HVAC equipment per company and manufacturer specs.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify issues and perform required repairs to ensure components work correctly.
• Complete paperwork neatly and on time.
• Communicate with office/management about additional work or change orders.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
