Job summary

Element Heating & Cooling in Twin Falls, ID is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair residential systems including furnaces, heat pumps, A/C units, and ductless systems. The role involves warranty and emergency services, educating customers, and ensuring workmanship meets manufacturer standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience required.
• 5+ years experience as an HVAC residential service technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, A/C units, ductless mini-splits, ductwork).
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Educate customers on system performance, proactive repairs, upgrades and maintenance agreements.
• Document installed equipment and service details (make, model, serial number, test measurements, photos).
• Coordinate with dispatch to maintain schedule and communicate delays to customers.
• Calibrate systems per manufacturer specifications and replace defective parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Work under supervision of management or lead technician to ensure jobs meet plans and standards.
