Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician. This full-time role diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and inspects residential systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

The position requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and strong diagnostic skills. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, holidays, and 401(k) with company matching. Overtime and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA Certification is required.
• NATE Certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini split systems, and related residential equipment.
• Understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, airflow diagnostics, gas heating equipment, and low-voltage controls.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer instructions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, seasonal inspections, and system tune-ups.
• Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini split systems, and indoor air quality products.
• Evaluate refrigeration systems, electrical controls, gas heating components, airflow performance, and low-voltage circuits.
• Explain repair recommendations and available solutions clearly to homeowners.
• Complete work according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
• Maintain accurate digital work orders and service documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable codes.
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for daily service.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and assist teammates during periods of increased demand.
