MVP Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

You will perform service calls, educate homeowners, document findings, and maintain equipment and vehicles. Applicants should have HVAC credentials and a valid driver's license, with EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree or certification or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 2 years residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance best practices, and energy-saving opportunities.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly and professionally with customers.
• Accurately document service calls, repairs, and recommended solutions.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and industry standards.
• Participate in company meetings, manufacturer training, and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina required to safely perform HVAC service and repair tasks.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree, certification, or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate HVAC tools, testing equipment, and service instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training programs.
