Job summary

Bullman Heating & Air, a NearU Company, is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain home heating and cooling systems. Five+ years of hands-on experience and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Create accurate repair estimates for customers.
• Educate customers on HVAC products, services, and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team.
• Build long-term trust with customers.
• Participate in on-call shifts, overtime, weekends as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Create accurate repair estimates for customers.
• Educate customers on HVAC products, services, and maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and deliver solutions that address the root cause, not just the symptom
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and members.
• Build long-term trust with customers. Our most successful technicians are also our most customer focused.
• Participate in rotating on call shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work based on the demand.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• Earn between $55,000 - $80,000/year along with SPIFFS on top of your hourly rate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential HVAC service (heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc.)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• EPA Certification
• Ability to lift 50-100lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, outdoor environments, and on ladders.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
